Can anyone tell me the symptons of a bowel or intestinal obstruction?  I am in some serious pain and it doesn't seem to be getting better.  I have pooped very small amounts a couple of times today and that hasn't helped. 

I would call your surgeon or head to the ER. There are so many possibles
with serious abdominal pain, don't wait or guess. If the pain is what you
consider serious, then it would be a medical emergency.  Good luck!

• Inability to have a bowel movement or pass gas

When I had one if felt like labor contractions and i just felt very full and finally would throw up every sip i tried to take. Worst pain I ever felt in my life. You should definitely call your surgeon. Waitng is too risky when you have serious pain..
