Question!!!
Sound like maybe a pinched nerve. Call your doc.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
Is it constant, or do you notice that it happens only when your let is in a certain position, such as if you're cutting off circulation? I think you should talk to your doctor as well, but I had constant tingling like numbness after surgery. It was always in my feet and legs, like I was cutting of circulation. I just realized reading this post that it's been gone a long time. I thought I was going to live with it the rest of my life.
I have a numb spot on my right leg just above my knee. It's about 4 by 3. I've had it ever since my surgery. Every once in a while it will tingle, itch or just plan sting. I googled it and came up with meralgia paraesthetica. It fits every symptom I have, maybe it will shed some light on your leg issue.
