Waiting for approval with tentative surgery date.

So excited and a bit scared.  My paperwork was submitted to insurance today for approval and they set a tentative surgery date for December 5th, 2011.  And now I am freaking out a bit.  It really is happening very quickly.  If approved, I will start pre-op diet next wednesday so I will miss out on Thanksgiving feast( but that seems like a fair trade-off to me).  Anyone else having the surgery around that time?  Would love to hear from you if so.  :)

Yes it is exciting and a bit nerve racking for me.  I hate the idea of having surgery.  I have only had 1 surgery my whole life so that is a bit scary.
