can honey or agave be used as a substitute?
I am curious if honey or agave can be used in lieu of sugar in recipes or if dumping might still be a problem? Has anyone had their NUT tell them yes or no on this? I don't go back to mine until the end of the month but I return to work in two days and I am trying to gather my supplies I will need in my cabinet at work!
Honey is very high in sugar, so yes, you could dump on it. If you dump.
I'm not sure about agave.

I am a dumper and also have episodes of low blood sugar - I am not diabetic.
I stay to 9gm of sugar or less per serving to prevent dumping. Honey & agave both are too high in natural sugar for me.
I have used honey with whole grain carb & some peanut butter for blood sugar in the 40's.
To be safe I'd stay with 9gm sugar or less per serving. Read your labels.
Best wishes.
