Help!!! I'm Drowning!
I am not quite 2 weeks out and I don't know how much I weigh. My feet and legs are still swollen from when I had the I.V. and the clear fluids so I haven't weighed. Any suggestions for how I might get this fluid off? A call to my doctor now allows me to take a half of a diuretic every other day -- but I am not seeing any progress. I welcome your suggestions!

How much are you drinking? It sounds weird, but the more fluids you take in, the more fluids come out. Not drinking enough can actually cause you to hold onto fluids.

Is it possible to go see you doctor? I experienced the same thing and he put back on the full water pill due to my history with Endema and they way my legs looked. He said that I was holding on to about 7lbs of water, it actually was 12. That was about 5 months ago and I haven't experience any problems yet.
