Question About Lab Work 6 Months Post-op

Can someone tell me if the lab work that is done at 6 months (and it will be my first lab work, post-op) is to be done fasting? No, my surgeon's office didn't tell me and my appt. is tomorrow.

Mine were fasting,, as it includes a lipid panel and a blood glucose. Also do not take your supplements until after your blood draw, some people don't think vitamins apply to the fasting rule, but they do.

Thank you. I suspected it would be fasting but I didn't know that about my vitamin supplement, which I take first thing each morning. I appreciate the info!

my surgeons office has me stop all vitamins for 3 days and my B12 shots for 1 week.

Must be fasting
