Shrimp = My new best friend!!!
3oz of pre cooked thaw to eat shrimp is 21g of protein and very very low in fat no carbs and no sugar and it actually sits very very light. I actually feel great after eating it just dipped in a little tarter sauce just thought would share for those of you that have problems with meats sitting heavy and feel blah after.

Not sure how far out you are and if you can have veggies yet, but I love to make this simple but delicious shrimp stirfry:
Heat about a tablespoon of oil in a pan (I use coconut but olive oil works, too). Add chopped garlic and ginger to taste - I do about a tablespoon of each. Add in some shrimp and a stirfry veggie mix of your choice and heat through. Season with a bit of salt and pepper if you choose. No starchy side needed - YUM!

I've just discovered shrimp recently, too. I've seen low sugar tartar sauce online but don't know if my local stores have it. I really have to get serious about counting up my daily protein as I'm sure I've been a long way from reaching it.
I'm going to try some canned salmon in the next day or so, too.

I make shrimp salad out of ****tail shrimp, light mayo made with olive oil, and Old Bay seasoning. (I don't have any problem with seasoning, but YMMV.)
