Getting to know you
Hi Ya'll! So I have been lurking for a long time, but I really want to get more involved. It's very difficult sometimes to follow everyone. I was hoping that you all would allow me to get to know you, and post 5 things about yourself. Absolutely anything you would like to share. To start I'll share 5 things about myself:
1. I am working toward surgery
2. I live with my fiance and love of my life, Pete
3. We have a fat cat named Harmonia (We call her Mona for short, I named her after the Roman Goddess of Harmony. Yes, I've been told that I'm a dork lol)
4. My absolute favorite TV show is Spartacus (And not just cause they're hot lol)
5. I go to American Public University online, I am a History major

Nice to meet you. When is your surgery? I've seen this get to know you post a few times since I joined back in Nov. I hope you get lots of responses.
1. I'm 54, married, no children
2. My hubby and I have been married 35 years
3. Our 4 legged tuxedo fur baby, Sheba is 6 years old
4. I'm a RN, and work in a busy NICU (30 yrs)
5. We're both Chrisitan, and very active with our church

1. i am a mother of 2 beautiful babies.
2. i am married to a very loveable and supportive man.
3. i had my surgery 6/4/12 down 26 lbs
4. my favorite shows are true blood, the vampire diaries, being human, the walking dead (im a horror/vampire weirdo)
5. i LOVE to swim and do out door activities :)
6. i am a very sweet person i wear my heart on my sleeve and im easily offended and hurt.
not sure if this is what you had in mind but its very nice to meet you. :)

I'll bite...because I really don't want to work for the next 10 minutes:
1. I can say the alphabet faster backwards than forwards.
2. I am an aspiring pianist; been taking lessons for 2.5 years and I have a giggly high-school girl crush on my 23 year old piano teacher (I'm 53! Oh my!)
3. I absolutely abhor kolhrabi....ick, ick, ick
4. I own two kayaks and never get enough time in them.
5. I never met a potato I didn't like, but I rarely eat them now. While I cried a few tears over the breakup, I'm better, stronger, person because of it ~grin~

2. I currently live with the love of my life. The best mister ever!
3. I have two grown sons and they each have one child. That makes me a grandmother of 2 beautiful babies. A boy and a girl.

3. No pets, I want to get a Rottweiler puppy but won't be until my baby girl is potty trained.

5. I have a degree in Business Administration but most of my work history is in Medical and Pharmaceuticals
