OT: My hubby surprised me!

After my 3 month check up on Friday, my hubby decided we should go look at new cars apparently he decided I needed a new one, since my car had 78,000+ miles on it after commuting for 3 years. Needless to say I drove home a new car Friday evening. He later stated that he was so proud of me and all the lifestyle changes I am making to get healthy that he felt I deserved a new car to go along with my new healthier self!! What a guy!!!

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. It requires sacrifice. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's WORTH IT! (Author Unknown). I feel this sums up my ongoing journey to a healthier me!

At my 3 week mark I too got a new car. My daughter said I was having a midlife crisis, lol!
I definitely deserve it and love sporting my new body - and car!

Awesome husband! My boyfriend told me I should buy a mountain bike so we can go biking together. Maybe I should tell him about you getting a new car I should get a new bike!

How cool! Sounds like a lot of people do this! I bought a mini. I've been wanting one for a while, but I didn't fit. Once I lost 70 lbs, I did! So I bought one!

Hmmm...my 3 month check up is next week but I don't need a new vehicle. Wonder what I can talk my husband in to....??? :)

WOW! You have a great hubby! Can I borrow him to train mine? Mine has 190k miles and heater and a/c are broken... No doubt I will NOT be getting a new one any time soon. You have a keeper!
