I don't know how long ago your surgery was, but dizziness is one of the things they told us would happen. It's called positional dizziness.

Or it could be your blood pressure. I know mine is way lower since surgery.

If your blood sugar really is fine, then you might need more water.

It could be blood pressure, dehydration, or simply lack of calories (specifically carbs).  If you are dizzy just sitting, you should probably call the doctor (and go home, if you are able to drive).  Otherwise, you can try drinking to see if that helps in case it is from dehydration.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

thank you for your quick responses.Having some powerade zero, if that doesn't work I will try a shake.

I have a BP machine at home, will have to remember to travel with it.

You may need more salt to help with your BP - and dehydration. Salt cause water retention. I have to remember to add salt to my proteins shakes.

We eat so little and some of the foods are very low sodium.  Unless you have high BP - adding salt may help you with dizziness.

Are you on meds for hypertension?  If so the dosage might need to be adjusted.
