First pre op surgeon visit...He told me to expect to lose 160lbs the first year. WOW
I was actually shocked that he said about 160lbs the first year. I weigh about 365lbs now so that would put me very close to about 200lbs. That would be amazing. Now, I know that everybody loses weight differently and I may not reach that 200lb mark within a year but DAMN....it sounds so nice and I actually got teary eyed when he said it. It all seems so real. I don't wanna get my hopes up but I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be that size. The last time that I weighed in the 100's was when I was 10 years old. The last time that I weighed in the 200's was about 10 years ago. I cannot wait for all this to start. :)
That's fantastic! I know I can't wait to get there myself! :)

There are no guarantees but it is doable for most. I had 130 lbs to lose and lost all of it plus 10 lbs in 9 months. Congrats on your first visit. Start preparing for a whirlwind of emotions and excitement.

I believe that it is able to happen. I had surgery on March 28th and my weight that day was 350, I am now 190...though I am at a pleateu :(...I would have never imagined that at almost 10 months out I would be down the 160 I am down!
