Is there any reason that your pouch WOULDN'T hurt if you overate?

You should get the feeling of being full and you should stop when you feel that, otherwise, you can over eat and stretch the pouch if you continuously over eat.

Did you maybe eat a slider food and it just went straight through?

Yes.

1.  Your nerves may not have healed fully yet so you may not get much sensation.

2.  You may have eaten a slider food, something like pudding or yogurt or mashed potatoes or soup, that doesn't stay in the pouch long.  That allows you to eat more.

3.  If you drink with meals, that may wash some of the food out of your pouch, allowing you to eat more.

4.  If you only overeat by a small amount, you probably won't have much discomfort.  The more you overeat, the more discomfort you should experience.
