help labs
TP probably stands for total protein. How low is it? How much protein do you get in a typical day?
How high is your ferritin? It's pretty unusual for that to be high. I would talk to your doc about it.
I'm not sure about the Sgot and Sgpt.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
These are the lab values that I found. You are within the normal values, just at the high end with Ferritin and the lower end with TP. Not sure how long ago you had surgery, but it may take time for your body to adjust?
Ferritin normal results - 12-150 (female)
TP- 6.0-8.5
Was liver function an issue prior to surgery?
