So frikking waterlogged

I'm home tonight after having surgery on Monday. I'm desperately trying to get my 4 medicine cups worth of liquid in per hour but I am so waterlogged the thought is making me heave.  It's kind of the feeling you get if you spend too long in a pool - hopefully someone can relate to that! It feels as if one moreanything will send my body equilibrium off so much that I'm going to turn into a gelatinous mess. 

Mom actually opting to go to bed At 8:30 so I don't have to drink anymore

Where did you have your surgery? 

I drink till I feel like water is going to pour from every opening. LOL I don't think I pee'd this much when I was pregnant!

 

Had my surgery at Charlotte presby main. Dr Voellinger. How about you?

I had mine in Greenville at Vidant (formally Pitt Co Hosp.) with Dr. Chapman. 

Get some SoBe 0 or 10 calorie and mix it with 1/2 water.  It goes down very easily.

I don't think there are a lot of folks who get all their fluids in right after surgery, I know I didn't.  It took me about six weeks or so before I was meeting that goal.

The best advice I could give you is to do the best you can today and push to do a wee bit better tomorrow, and before you know it you'll be at your goal weight.

Hang in there, you'll be a pro before ya know it!!
