Is sugar free pudding considered "food" and do I have to wait 30 minutes to drink something after I've eaten it? My mind is mush this morning and I can't find any info. on it in my doctors packet, other than I could have it.

I think so. Whenever I'd eat it I would wait before having anything to drink.

It's usually considered a full liquid, really, but if I eat it with a spoon, I treat it like food and don't drink afterward.

Some surgeons have different ideas, but my surgeon told us that could possibly be ingested via a straw (even if it requires some real sucking power) OR if it melts into a liquid (like jello).  So pudding was considered a food and no drinking afterward.
