The scale is at a halt :(

For the last 2 weeks (give or take), the scale has not been moving :(. I know this is normal in my journey, but it is still so frustrating. I am amazed at how much I have lost so far- but it is such a rush seeing the numbers go down....and a huge let down when they stall. I just got to keep on "keeping on".

Don't stress. The scale will move, it just takes time. But the results are worth it. Enjoy this time and use it to learn how to eat right and make good habits/choices.

I am with you on this. It has been two weeks since my scale has moved! Have you noticed though anything else like maybe your loosing inches.. I know I noticed I may not be loosing on the scale but my jacket and jeans are looser. (just a thought)

Ah, the scale. I actually looked down at it once and told it to eff off when I was in a stall.

So take your measurements and track your progress in other ways. It really will move again. But finding other ways to track your progress will help you keep your equilibrium. Try on presurgery clothes and see how baggy they are. Bend over to tie your shoes. Chase the dog or kids around the yard. Every time I want to get stuck on what the scale says, I make myself find an NSV.

Take care

Great advice!

I had a stall for a couple of weeks, also.  I just remembered what everyone else here has said about stalls and decided not to worry about it.  And, guess what?  The scale is moving again!  enlightened

It will be like that for you, too.  Just keep with it!

Thanks for your support- Yep, I have had some very good NSV's lately. It seems like people are noticing and comment more lately- and I tell them I haven't lost any more- but I guess I am re-portioning :) I just try to tell my self to stay off the dang scale!!
