So I just had my one week (and one day) check-in with my Dr and he says everything is looking great. I'm down 22 lbs so I can't complain. Except for this... Sunday, is Superbowl Sunday, and I have no idea of what to eat! I have a good idea of what not to but what can a guy do that is on the soft stage take partake in ?

The only thing I can think of is Hummus and beer. (kidding about the beer)

Do you all have any other ideas?

Refried beans with a dab of greek yogurt in place of sour cream and a few shreds of cheddar. I would hold off on the salsa for a bit.

That is the most Super Bowl type festive food I can think of suitable for a healing stomach. Head on over to BariatricFoodie and TheWorldAccordingtoEggface for more ideas.

I fight badgers with spoons.

Refried beans with greek yogurt and maybe some guacamole

Greek yogurt you flavor yourself

Cottage cheese with buffalo wing sauce/hot sauce (if your pouch can handle the spice)

Can you do egg salad/tuna salad?  Can you do hard boiled eggs (the whites)?  You can take the yolk out and fill the egg with tuna salad (kind of like a deviled egg)

If you can handle the fat, you can eat japapeno artichoke dip - I eat it with a spoon.

I did a modified 7 layer dip during the playoffs and plan to do it again.

1 can of fat free refried beans as the bottom layer, fat free Greek yogurt with low sodium taco seasoning to taste as the second layer, whipped avocado with lime and a bit of salt and the final layer is low fat grated cheese. I was able to eat 2-3 tablespoons at a time and every else loved it..

Enjoy
