ONEderland! At last!
I am 6 weeks out today (I was a lightweight - first time I've ever been called that!), and I have been bouncing around between 200 and 203 for the last 2 weeks. Finally, this morning, the scale moved below 200. Yes! It has been about 8 years since I've seen a 1 at the beginning of my weight.
I finally figured out that my weight loss has slowed because I am not eating enough food. Since surgery, I have been eating about 200-300 calories a day. I can't tolerate protein shakes, and I just am not hungry. I was told to only eat 3 meals a day, no snacks. I finally talked to my surgeon about it, and we agreed to up my meals to 4 times a day. Plus, I have finally been allowed to eat more types of foods, so here I come turkey and beef! So, since I have been able to get over 400 calories a day, the scale finally started to move again. Yay!!
