So my husband and I are separated (almost a year now) and he has never said anything about how I am looking since I started this journey. Mind you, it is pretty obvious, and he doesn't see me on a daily basis, so I think he is just being an ass. Shocker.

And, I work with 4 other people - total, in my whole company. And they all know my struggles, and have been with me on my journey since day one, but they also see me every day, so changes are not as noticeable. But one of the guys was telling me today that he likes it when I wear my hair up, but he thinks it is because my face is getting a lot thinner. He said, "You are looking good, girl! I just gotta pass that on!"

So, now, I look like a total idiot with this big goofy smile on my face, and I don't care a lick!

Congrats and it'll get better as you get further out. You may eventually wish people would quit making comments, lol. I'm sure your husband sees it just as you said he's being an ass.

Well then don't wipe it off! Carry it with you and embrace the joy it brings. Sometimes the simplest comments are the ones that mean the most. Congratulations on your success thus far!
