Finding a new doctor/moving

So I just found out that I was accepted to law school. The crazy thing is that they want me in their accelerated program that starts at the end of May in Oklahoma City. I currently live in Tucson and was interested in finding out if anyone post-op has changed their doctor, how they found a new one that would accept them, and how that transition went.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

My surgeon closed his practice when I was six months post op.  I just called other surgeons in the area and asked if they took my insurance and if they were taking new patients.  I didn't have any trouble finding one that was.  I got a copy of my records from my old surgeon when I learned he was closing his practice, and took those to the new surgeon.
