New Job
Hi everyone!
I am having surgery on April 10th.
I have taken just about a year off of work and now I am looking for a new job (dont want to go back to my old company).
My question is when should I plan to start my new job? I was thinking early May, but now I am thinking that i might be pushing it. Its not like I am going back to my old job and just take another week or two.
Its difficult to apply and not really know when I can start. I ended up cancelling an interview thatI had for tomorrow because I dont know what to say!
Thanks everyone!

I think you would make a better impression if you don't start a new job and ask for time off immediately. Give yourself some time to get used to your new routine and feel good about your weight loss. You can also avoid the new employee WLS conversations that so many complain about here. You can also start off with new energy and focus on the job. That is my opinion as a former employer.
