Off my diabetic meds
I have been diabetic for almost a year now. I had been taking 4 pills to help me control my sugar levels. I got off 2 of them a few months ago when I have lost so much weight on my supervised diet. I started my pro op liquid diet on Friday and my sugar levels kept dropping below 100 and I kept having dizzy spells so my doctor pulled me off all my diabetic meds. I so hope this is for good 
I have my pre op surgeons apt next Friday and will finally get my surgery date, but it should be happening before the end of the month I was told.
Way to go I had my apointment today I was taking 4 metformin per day prior to my surgery. I have not taken anything since the day before my surgery and I was told today that my diabitis is in remission and will hopefuly stay that way. I was told that it will not just go away and that I will always have it but with the better live style it will be in remission. I wish you best of luck and hopefuly you will get your date soon.
