First Post Op Appointment - YAY!
Yesterday was my first appt with surgeon post op. Down 14 lbs in 2.5 weeks! Is this real? It's funny, I feel happy about the loss but almost don't believe it's true. Anybody else ever feel this way? Like, okay, down 14 lbs., that's good but that's all there's going to be?
And on the other hand, while I'm happy about the 14 lbs., I wi**** was more.
Geeze, my mind (what's left of it) is all over the place!
Kathy
Congratulations! I have my first appointment on Monday. I hope it goes well.
I've lost 19 pounds in two weeks. That sounds like a lot, but my doc follows a very restrictive diet (clear liquids for the first five days, cloudy liquids for two weeks after that), plus I'm having trouble "eating" all I'm supposed to eat (six meals a day plus 80 to 100oz of water). I'm not hungry at all. So it hasn't been tough. Though I'll admit, I don't have as much energy as I'd like. Thankfully, I've been getting in all my water.
I guess what's hard for me is the thought that I should (if I do what I'm supposed to do) get down to my college weight (when I maintained at 135 to 140 lbs) or even lower (my goal is 125). That seems like something I can't quite picture yet. But that's probably okay. I have more immediate goals I'm well on my way to meeting.
Good luck to you! I'll be keeping a close eye on your progress.
