nine months ago today
Nine months ago today I was having a life changing surgery-even more life changing than I could even imagine. I had started my journey at 258.5 and weighed 253 the day of surgery. My blood sugars ran 180 and my blood pressure was uncontrolled on three pills. I couldn't go down a short flight of stairs without being out of breath. I was miserable! Today my blood sugars are normal and my pressure is controlled on one low dose pill. I weigh half of what I weighed before-129 this morning. I have gone from a size 4x and 24 pants to size small and size 4 pants(probably size 2 in some styles). Best of all I am living life and feeling healthier every day!If I can do it you can too! Right now I am not able to exercise because I had foot surgery 2 weeks ago and am non weight bearing on my left foot and that is kind of depressing but today I am reminded that I have so much to be thankful for!
How awesome and inspiring!!! CONGRATULATIONS to you .... what an AWESOME journey!!! Best wishes for prompt recovery on your foot... I am glad you allow your thankfulness to shoo away your depression ... you have much to be thankful for indeed ... you will be weight bearing before long ((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))... not to worry ... this too shall pass...
I am sooooooooooooo happy and inspired by reading your thread today.
