Haven't been around in a while, been in the hospital for 6 weeks

Yikes, terrifying!!  Very glad to hear you're mending up, especially after all you've come through.  Thoughts and prayers for a smoother recovery from here on out!  Keep us updated.

Oh wow! I'm sorry to hear you've been through this!  I had it happen to me in 2008 before my RNY.  I knew it was bad by the time I got to the hospital...my sister and her hubby tried to pass it off as gas...LOL I said take me to hospital or I'm driving myself.  My Mom had to stay and keep my then 5 year old son....so, I was wisked off to surgery at that point thinking it was my appendix at 2am in the morning....then they found it....the surgeon told my sister I was one tough cookie.  

I am so hoping that it won't happen again!!  My bariatric surgeon had to review the hospital surgery notes to make sure he could even do my bypass....I had some pain yesterday (similar to when I had the perforation happen) and scared the heck out of me....it's gotten better but I'm still wondering if I should call my doctor.....
