do i dye my hair?

i am 12 weeks out. in fear of hair loss i havent had it dyed...i need it! any thoughts or experiences?

Go for it.   Make sure you use a high quality color like the ones hairdressers have access to. It will make your hair look thicker and healthier.  I color mine and I am 18 weeks out. Every 3 weeks.    It doesn't increase hair fall out, in my opinion and it does make me feel better to see it nicely colored

I think if you're gonna have hair loss it's gonna happen wether you dye it or not. So I say, go for it!

I'm almost 11 months out and I color my hair every two weeks.  I did lose about half my hair from month 4-7 but the hair loss has stopped.

I had mine done professionally every 6 weeks  before, during, after, it didn't make it any better , didn't make it any worse, Denise

I say dye it, I dye mine every six weeks or so, but I buy from a salon supply store and mix my own. Your hair will fall out regardless of whether or not you dye it.

Just don't bleach the crap out of it while its in the delicate phase of falling out.  I dyed mine many colors while I lost it, 3 surgeries in 4 yrs meant lots of loss.  Now its stable I torture it with blond highlights.
