Feeling Queasy More Often

I'm a little over 3-1/2 months post-surgery.  While I'm very happy with my weight loss, 54 pounds from my top weight, I find that a few times a week I'll get very queasy.  Sometimes it's when I start eating, and sometimes a little after I've finished.  It can be the same food that I ate with no problem days earlier, so there's no rhyme or reason.  Anyone else find queasiness to be a problem?  Even with this, I still am very happy I had the surgery and with my results so far.  Thanks for reading.

We had surgery on the same day and I have those same queasy feelings from time to time.. today has actually been one of those days where ive had to force myself to eat because of those feelings. I call days like today My grouchy pouch days.  Just know your not the only one who feels this way.

Thanks for the empathy!  That's funny too, grouchy pouch days.  Love you "optimistic" name too.  Glad to know I'm not alone, although hope we both pass through this phase quickly.  Have a great day.

That's good to know.  I wasn't told that, so knowing that it's common the first six months helps, although I assumed it was.

I had the same problem at times early out. I promise it gets better as you pouch settles down. I rarely have a problem now at 11 months out.

It's good to hear that it's settled down...and also good to see that at 11 months you're at goal.  I'm hoping for the same, as I'm almost 4 months out and at the half-way point already of what I want to lose.  Thanks for the encouragement and response.

WOW...our stats are very similar too.  I was at 268 at my highest, and hoping for a 160 goal...and at almost 4 months out I'm down (as of today) 58-1/2 pounds.  Yes, in the beginning the food got me more sick and felt extremely weird.  Now I have a lot of meals that are normal and go down okay, but the past few weeks the queasiness has increased.   It seems people are saying that the pouch eventually adjusts, so let's both be hopeful.

I'm sure you feel as I do, that even with all this, it's SO worth it.  I'm feeling so much better physically, although my arms are getting quite loose now...yuck!  Guess we can't have it all.

My arms are getting loose as well. I have been going to the pool a lot and working out in the water. I love it. Doesn't even seem like a workout, but I feel it the next day!!
