Low Vitamin A?
I get 25,000 IU vitamin A capsules from vitalady.com.

What's your vitamin A level? Why does your doc recommend such a low dose? You could just get the 10,000 IU and take it every four days or something.
Make sure whatever you buy is a dry A, not in oil.

Hmm. I have been taking 25,000 IU three times a week just to keep my level around 60.

Your level is not horrendously low and because vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamin it is entirely possible for you to "overdose" - you will not pee out excess ...
Medical professionals are very conservative with fat soluble vitamins and people here will sometimes recommend high doses, not knowing why that is NOT a good idea.
A case of buyer beware in terms of where you get your medical recommendations!

I do take larger amounts because my body dictates I do. You do want dry form so be sure that's what you get.
Work with your doctor to monitor yours again in a few months.

Hi Sunshine,
I've been able to find adult gummy vitamins in the 2000's, One a Day Womens, and others. My labs are super using a variety of gummy supplements. My surgeons office approves because they begin working as soon as you begin to chew them. They work for me at the high levels I need. My "A" is 62. I'm 2 years out, been using them for a year.
