Well the hubby and I are safely tucked into our hotel room. My check in is at 6:00 am with surgery at 7:30. My hubby checks in at 8:30 for a 10:15 surgery. We are both very excited. The only thing is the surgeons assistant looked under my dreaded belly hang today and said he thinks it looked yeasty. If that is so my surgery will be post-poned and bowel prep was for nothing. I pray my surgeon will just do it. I do have pssoriasis and the surgeons assistant said it looked like that so he wasn't sure what the surgeon would do. Gggrrr

Since you are doing this on the same day PLEASE be very, very aware of the extreme hormonal changes you may both face in the coming month or so. My husband and I had an EXTREMELY rough time of it after his surgery and at least we were better prepared for my surgery hormonal surge/crash.

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
