Wife just got insurance approval
My wife and I are both going to have RNY done.
Due to some health concerns earlier in the year (gallbladder and shortness of breath) she had already had all the testing (except psych) done before we met with the surgeon.
She just called the Insurance company and they have approved her surgery.
She is scheduled for 11/22.
I am so happy that we are through the hardest part prior to surgery.
Now, I just need an echo and stress test and get her through surgery and hopefully I can have it done early in January.

Wonderful news! My husband and I did this half a year or so apart (oct/may) ans we many times have said how glad we were to both have done this!!
HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
