Tomorrow is the big day!
Good luck to you! It goes by super fast! My surgery was little under an hour!
Make sure to walk as soon as you can and walk oftern. It helps with the pain and helps with the gas.
Brush your teeth when you feel your mouth is the sahara desert. They won't let you have anything to drink for 24 hours.
Be prepared not to sleep very much at the hospital, Just little cat naps.
Use you incentive spirometer.
Remember it gets better everyday!
Can't wait to hear how it all goes!
Big Hugs!

I was required to drink as soon as I woke in the recovery room enough to speak clearly, so the nothing to drink for 24 hours might not be accurate.
I did get up and walk right away and walked 2.5 miles in the 16 or so hours I was in the hospital post-op. I was there less than 24 hours from time of check in to check out.
Lip balm, brushing my teeth and walking were my three constants for the first week.
GOOD LUCK!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
