low protein and albumin
I need help. My albumin is 3.5 and my protein is 6.5. I am just over 2 years out from RNY. I still do 1-2 protein shakes per day to keep my protein between 70-90 oz per day. I can only do 1.5-2.5 oz of dense protein at a time. Not sure how to get enough protein in to raise my protein level and still focus on losing weight.

I'd increase your protein intake a bit. At least make sure you are getting 90 grams a day every day. Can you just add a little bit more protein to your protein shakes?

Protein normal is 6.0-8.0. Albumn is 3.5-5.0. So yes, both results are still within normal, but just barely....Plus they have been trending downward for the last 6 months, so when I was in for my physical, my PCP started noticing the trend.

I need to get 100-150 gr of proteins per day to maintain mid level range proteins if I follow low carb diet. Adding an additional protein shake may help you. For a while I used to get 60- 80 gr in shakes and then had food.
