Need some help, anything will do.
I'm waiting on the approval for my referral for WLS .
i have a couple of days felling dizzy, heart pounding (fast and loud ) and shortness of breath. All this at the same time. Anyone had this before? What can it be?
i know my doctor is the one who will have the best answer but just wanting to know if anyone has experience this before and what was the diagnosis and I know my could be different but just wanting to know.
p.s
i will call my primary doc tomorrow to schedule an appointment for this, it's kind of scary for me.
It's indeed a good thing you are seeing your doctor, because those symptoms could be anything. You could be talking about low blood sugar, the flu, heart issue, circulation issue or even just anxiety issues. I know you just want to get through right now until you can see your doctor but if it's a true concern to you, Urgent Care clinic might be the best answer in order to rule out any of the... scarier things. Right?
I get anxiety attacks where my heart pounds, etc. and I take medication - there are so many stressors in our lives these days. I don't work anymore, so I get a lot less of these attacks now. But you should definitely talk to your doctor about it. I'm going through the pre-op stage now - they really check you over to be sure you're able to undergo the surgery. I have heart issues and have to see a cardiologist - but as long as I don't have a blockage I'll be approved. What were you doing when you had the problems - were you physically active, or were you thinking about surgery and possible complications? Considering WLS brings about many fears about the surgery itself and how our lives are going to change...... Be sure to speak with your doctor.
Still learning. Currently in pre-op stage.
Thanks, I just called my doc and was told they can't see me that I have to go to the E.R because it could be something serious . But I was told the doctor wants to see me tomorrow so I will just wait to see him.
i have suffered from anxiety for several years but I stopped taking medication and when I went back to see if I could get it the lady at the clinic said that it's all in my head that I don't need medication and she was not going to give me a proscription for it, so what she did was sent me to a mental specialist (sorry don't remember the right name) .
im having an episode right bowl sorry can't think right will have to leave to the E.R
