could this problem be a result vitamin deficiency?

about 2 weeks after surgery I started with a constant runny nose, drip, drip, drip.  Not sick, no cold, no problems.  Allergy meds, antibiotcs did nothing.  Now almost 3 months out,  ....

I am posting here at my husbands request.  Could it be some nutritional, vitamin need?  I get my first blood work up next week.

Any thoughts on this?

I don't know of any vitamin deficiency that would cause a runny nose.  Many deficiencies can suppress your immune system, causing you to get sick easily.  But they wouldn't just make your nose run.  It's probably something like allergies, a cold, a sinus infection, etc.  I'd see your PCP about it.

I've seen my PCP they are at a loss.  Gave me antibiotics incase I picked something during surgery.

Then I guess I'd ask your PCP who you should see that might know.  Maybe a ENT specialist or something.

Hmm...does it happen all the time or only when you are eating? Do you have a history of reflux/GERD?

If it does happen while eating, do you notice it more with certain foods or temperatures?

It is probably innocuous and most likely not related to surgery, but I'm not a MD. If you're worried about it I think an ENT visit is in order.

My "full sign" is a drippy nose. Only happens when I am full... which early out I did not recognise.

After surgery, certain things make my head all congested, with a runny nose. Never happened before. If I eat a little too much, and . . . certain physical activities. Very strange, and definitely related to surgery.
