The Vegetti

I put three 1" diameter zucchini through it, put the resulting strings into boiling water for 3 minutes, topped with ragu and parmesan:  YUMMY!   I love a nice bowl of pasta, but of course haven't been able to eat it for years.

Just a word of warning:  keep your fingers OUT of it.  It will shred your finger knuckles very quickly.

I found it online;  just "google" the term Vegetti.  The site I bought from gave me 2 for 1, along with a little cookbook.   Of course, S&H is horrible, but what else is new?

Edit:  Just went to Google and found it at Walmart, BB&B, Target, etc., for $14.99 (and no S&H)

I love mine. I saute my zuchinni noodles with a bit of olive oil and some lemon juice, salt and pepper then add the sauce. I like the zuchinni a little firm so I don't saute it for very long. So yummy!

I've made the zucchini noodles sauteed and boiled and both are good.

My favorite is to top it with sauce with lots of sausage and mozz cheese.  Next time I will do that and put it in the oven and bake it.

Good to know. I just saw it at my walmart. Think I'll go back and get one.

I picked mine up at wal-mart.  Saw an add for it on gma on tv and it looked interesting.  I love zucchini but was getting tired of cooking it the same way all of the time.  Everyone loves it sliced like this - it is a wonderful change.

Thanks for the testimonial. I am so wary of things advertised on tv. So often they turn out to be complete flubs. I might have to get one.
