Concert 4-5 weeks out Unreasonable?

We have tickets to a concert 4-5 weeks after my surgery.  I am debating if we should keep them or not, or if I will be OK to go.

Any thoughts?

I suppose everyone is different, but I am 3 weeks out right now and if I had tickets to a concert tonight I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Awesome to hear!  Glad you are feeling well.  Congrats on making it 3 weeks?

We bought these tickets awhile ago, and I really want to go, but just not sure if it will work....

Thanks! I've had a fairly uneventful time post-op.  I'm gradually getting my energy back to normal.  I would wait and see how you feel after surgery before you get rid of the tickets.

As long as you don't have some sort of complication, you should be fine to go to a concert a month post op.  You should pretty much be back to your normal activities by then.

By 4-5 weeks post op, I felt better than I did prior to surgery.  I had lost a good amount of weight, so walking was easier, and I had no pain or issues.

Go you will be fine.Just make sure you eat before you go and buy water. You may not feel perfect but it is better then staying home and thinking I should have went to the concert.

I could have run a marathon at 4-5 weeks out!   We go to lots of concerts at Red Rocks and the only problem you might have there is failing a drug test after  - even if you are not personally smoking - the weed smell is more than any of the food smells LOL!!!!

Plan on going and have fun!

LOL Kim - It's so funny you say that because my friend at work is flying there this weekend!  I had never heard of Red Rocks before and we looked up pictures today and it is so BEAUTIFUL!  We are in RI, so it is quite a hike :)
