Pain stops me from eating/drinking - Ulcer?

I'm 7 weeks out and I'm having pain when eating and drinking. If I press down and in just below xiphoid (area where the ribs come together at the upper abdomen) I'm able to get something in but not a lot. I'm now taking 2 omeprazole a day which help with the pain a little but still not enough. 

Doctors are thinking possible ulcer. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this?

I have no idea what might be the cause of your pain; however, I would certainly contact my surgeon if it persists.

I'm now taking 3 omeprazole a day and carafate 3-4 times a day per surgeons request. It's only been a few days but it's still not getting better - not yet. Doctor said that we'll wait 4 weeks and if not better then we do an endoscopy. I think they try and stay away from endoscopy until 3 months out and I'm at the 2 month mark. Has anyone had an endoscopy after RNY?
