One complication after another
I had gastric bypass on June 9. Since then I have spent a great amount of time throwing up. I have had three endosopies to stretch my stricture and today the GI doc told my husband that it "looks funky" past where he has been working. I'm looking at an upper GI or a CAT scan and my problem will probably have to be surgically addressed. Has anyone had anything similar happen? Based on the sketch that the doctor drew for my husband, it looks like my problem is in the "y" part of the Roux N Y
I'm so sorry, I hope you feel better soon.

I will keep you in my prayers. I have had bypass on July 23 2014. 3 weeks later nothing but foamed and vomit. I also had trouble holding things down, to find out that I had a stricture that needed fixing after 3 daysin the hospital of not knowing what was going on. So now 2 and a half weeks out, I can actually feel the same symptoms coming back. I now have an appointment to go open up the stricture a little more the 15 of Sept. And I honestly don't know how many more I will need to keep it permanent. It actually feels like my body wants to heal everything. I wish I could have been more helpful but know you are not alone. I too am going through set backs
