110# lost in 8 months. Pictures included
Last October I knew I was on my way to having surgery soon. So as I was taking the traditional how tall I am pictures at the pumpkin patch with my kiddos I ask my husband to take one of me too! Yesterday I had a fun day with the kids and got to take my new picture! It should be titled how wide am I? :)
The pink shirt with my toddler was in December at a performance of some kind
And the Christmas cookie picture was about 10 days before my liquid diet!
I started liquids on December 31.
I work full time and my Hubby travels a lot for work. I have a 12 yo and a 3 yo. I have to remember I'm on my own journey, not one to compare to others. I exercise at 5 AM or else it would never happen. I drink a shake for breakfast and take two 20 oz bottles of water with generic Benefiber in them and drink them all before 10 AM.
I am at the weight I was as a freshman in college and the weight I was when I got married 17 years ago. I've never really been much lower than this as an adult other than one summer after my freshman year in college I lost 30 lbs but bounced right back up 15 lbs.
I'm very comfortable at this weight but I am still working on 10-15 more. It is much, much harder. I can eat absolutely anything. Nothing is off limits per my pouch. Yup, I've tested it. I know. But I also know how to work my health and pouch. I am really on track Monday-Friday and I let myself have some extra foods during the weekend. At first I was disappointed that I could eat those food, but I realized I am happy to have choices to eat as normally as I choose. Not a sick moment since I started. 1
I know that a protein based snack will give me will power over other foods. I know every diet trick in the book and I deploy them daily. I know that being tired and celebrating are my downfalls. I know that stress eating is manageable with a cup of tea but I do better alone then when in a group. I can stop and plan and think.
Stunning pictures!! Congrats on your weight loss. Your hard work sure paid off!

Congratulations! Ironically, I just posted my update pictures, too -- and my before was baking Christmas cookies as well. There seems to be a common thread here! LOL
