It all seems so real now.  I must admit I am a little freaked out.  I know I am in good hands.  I have an amazing medical team and an amazingly supportive family but I feel a little lost and scared.  I will get through it but am I going to be a basket case for the next five days?

You might be. I know I was! But before you know it,it will all be over and you will wonder why you were so worried! Just keep that end in sight-- a health you like never before. Get ready for an amazing journey! I had surgery 27 months ago and lost 145 pounds, high blood pressure, sky high cholesterol and triglycerides. And I don't miss any of it!

Congratulations and best of luck.  Enjoy your journey and remember that it takes so much courage to decide to have surgery.  I, too, was so nervous and scared.  However, it is the best decision I have ever made in my life.

Thank you everyone.  It makes me feel so much better being a part of this sight and reading everyone's success stories.  I also was thinking it may be some sugar and carb withdrawal.  I have been through that before and I can get a little wacky while going through that.  hahaha...
