Still hungry

Not sure why but even after I eat some cream of chicken soup I still feel hungry.  Anyone else have this problem? 

Don't know what surgery you had and when but soup is a slider food and wont stay I tour pouch long if you had any which is likely why you are still hungry. The more details you post about your situation...the better input others will b able to give you.

You can put the surgery type and date in your profile so it will show up in all of your posts. It's a  lot easier to offer advice and experience with a little basic information.

As others have mentioned soup is a slider food. My suggestion is to try eating solid protein first. Get that 3 ounces at the start of your meal, then add some vegetables and see how you feel. Remember Chew, chew, chew and don't drink for 30-40 min after you eat.  If you early out, concentrate on liquids and measure to stay in your surgeons guidelines.  Good luck in reaching your goals.

I think the poster might still be on liquids because she had her surgery November 19th.

You should not be feeling hungry so soon.  I am 8 months out and don't feel hunger.  I feel head hunger and when I do, I drink water and that helps.  I just make sure I eat every 3-4 hours.

Well I had my RNY 9/4/14 and I eat my 3oz of protien and begs or friit and I can say that I am one of those people that is still hungry almost famished! I drink my 64+ liquid ...it's starting to bother me..so so hungry!
