I am 7 days post op and have just started having esophagus pain when swallowing. Doc has me on Prilosec. Anybody else have this problem and did it resolve itself? thanks
Yes I felt this. I was drinking too big sips or not chewing food thoroughly enough. Need tiny bites and tiny sips. Hard to retrain yourself, and I was never one to take giant bites.
I am on full liquid so no bites but realized it happens right after I take any of my former meds. The doctor is having me crush my pills and I think they are irritating as they go down. I will try smaller sips though.
