air bubble in my throat WHY?

I'm 3 weeks out tomorrow and from day 1 I've been getting air bubbles in my throat that really hurt whenever I swallow liquid, applesauce, anything. WHY ?  I"m not gulping or anything. I never had this before surgery.

Not sure if it's the same type of feeling, but I had kind of constant lump sensation and after talking with my dr we tried prilosec and that has helped a TON. Hope it feels better soon.

I've been on Prilosec from day one, it was one of his requirements... ??? I see him Friday, I'll have to mention it. It eventually goes away but it's painful at the time

Isn't it funny how each surgeon is different? I'm on the 40mg
