Stricture
You can have a stricture at any time, and can have scar tissue this early after surgery. Check with your doc. In the meantime, force the water down, make sure you get all the water in you're suppose to and take bigger sips so your throat, stoma and stomach can get familiar with water and other liquids going down. For many it's a mind thing with starting new foods, there's fear about pain and getting something stuck. Have the doctor check you if you think you could have a stricture. If it's just not having any solid food for a while then make sure you drink lots -take gulps or larger sips if you can to get your body ready for soft foods to come.
