Do you have a recipe for the Tandoori chicken?  I love it when we go out but I have never made it at home...

Its really easy!  Here you go:

1/2 tsp curry powder

1/2 tsp chilli powder (more or less depending on how spicy you like things)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp turmeric

2 tbsp of plain yoghurt (or use water if you want it dairy free)

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Preheat your bbq or indoor grill to high

In a bowl mix all spices and yoghurt to make a smooth paste.  Rub the paste all over the chicken breasts and place on a plate and let marinate for 20 minutes.  Personally I let it marinate over night.

Turn your grill down to med-high, brush your grill with Pam and or olive oil, place chicken on bbq and cook 6-8 minutes on each side until juices run clear when pierced with a fork.

I cut it up and weigh out 3.5 - 4 oz and eat it over a bed of greens.  ENJOY!!

Thanks for that recipe...it sounds really good and I am going to try it next week and not tell anyone it is low cal!.....

my go to snacks are hot chocolate ( with skim milk if I need a protein boost,) cottage cheese and a little smoked salmon, light cool whip and low fat, low carb dannon light and fit yogurt...(mix it up and it tastes really naughty),sometimes a starbucks decaf grande skinny cap with a shot of sugar free syrup fills me up for a couple of hours and tastes really yummy....and then the usual...almonds, protein bars, and of course calcium chews!

B: smoked salmon, low fat cream cheese on a rice cake

L: deli thin sliced turkey breast, 1/2 beefsteak tomato and 1 tbl greek yogurt spinace dip

S: 1/2 quest bar

D: 50 grms grouper, 1/2 hardboiled egg, lettuce, 1/2 tbl blue cheese dressing

S: dannon low carb low fat yogurt with cool whip and some hot chocolate as not enough protein or calories ( weird problem!)

Thanks for suggesting the glucosamine and choindroitin for Lily. My vet said it was a great idea so we started it that day. She is already doing much better!

There may be another snack in there for me today. Haven't decided yet. I  apologize I've been largely MIA lately. So since I missed photo Friday here is a picture of me this weekend at my jobs annual fundraiser

Good Morning All!

My go to snack are string cheese and veggie slices (I like sliced bell peppers and cucumbers best) with greek yogurt dip.  I also eat a fair amount of almonds, but typically buy the 100 cal packs so I have built in portion control :)

Time since surgery: 1 year

B - 2 string cheeses

L - I didn't plan at all, so I have to go out for lunch.  I'm not sure what I'll get....

D - Meatloaf

W/V - On track

E - Spin class tonight

Have a great day everyone,

Hi Everybody,

Sounds like people out East are going to have a challenging week, here in Michigan it is just cold like 13 degrees.  Brrrr to all, hope you guys do get a snow day.  How cool

My go to snacks mostly are shrimp ****tail if I am really hungry, cheese stick lite, dole dippers occasionally, sf jello pudding, sf fudgecycles, and skinny pop (try not to buy it I can eat a lot of it without thinking, ahah moment for me.  Also can't find the single bags)

I have trouble posting pictures on OH.  I have posted/with help, to my profile a couple of pictures that show my weight loss so far.  I am so happy, I haven't weighed this much since the early 2000's, and I feel great.  So take a peek if you like.

About 4 months since surgery

B  salted carmel greek yogurt

L  turkey chile 5 crackers

D  lasagna it is cold this should taste good today

S  shrimp ****tail, string cheese, maybe some banana dole dippers if I need another snack (I'll add it into the total now)

Cal 793,  Prot  60

V/W  almost done with V, W not a problem ever

E  was going to take the day off, but I decided while sitting here to bike.  I have been exercising daily since my friend had surgery because I missed a few days staying with her.  Going to save my day off for another day, I am sure there will be a day when I don't want to exercise or can't.  Just feel tired.

Hope everyone has a good day

Bubbles! I just checked your profile to see your pictures - OMG, you're looking so great - keep it up! I can't seem to find the single serving bags of SkinnyPop in the grocery store, but you can get them on Amazon!
