Got my date!
April 8 is the BIG day! I can hardly believe it. I was having such a lousy day at the office when I got the call from the surgeon's office. Really needed the good news. Once I hung up the phone and looked at my calendar, I got a little overwhelmed. It's so close! I have a little over a wee****il I start my 14 day pre-op diet. YIKES. I have to get ready! Gotta order the 1 oz cups, protein powder sample, sugar free popsicles, busy, busy, busy! I'm doing the happy dance and can hardly wait to be on the losers bench with the rest of y'all. Whoo-hoo!
Hooray and good for you! I can't wait to get my date...

It's very exciting! Don't worry too much about stocking up on things you think you'll need. The hospital sent me home with some 1oz cups- I maybe used 3. Your tastes will be VERY different for a few weeks after surgery, so things you like now you may dread after. I had my favorite protein shakes on hand, but preferred other flavors I'd never liked before! You'll probably want to get out and about for short trips, so the grocery store or vitamin/supplement shop is an option. You'll have no real appetite so it isn't overly tempting! You really don't need anything in the hospital. I'd suggest remembering earplugs and lip balm but that's really about it! Good luck!!
Yay! Congrats, it'll be here before you know it :) xoxo
