Five Month Anniversary Today - w/picture
Today is my five month surgiversary - wu-hooo! At times I think the time has gone by fast, sometimes it seems like forever ago I started this journey. Time can be a funny thing, though.
As of today I'm down 85 pounds since my Pre-Op appointment, and 91 from my highest weight. I'm pretty darn proud of myself. :)
I still have some struggles keeping foods down, but I can usually meet both my fluid and protein goals each day (just barely)... but what a difference it is to go to bed thinking "hmmmm... did I get enough nutrients in for my body today...?" instead of... "crap... another day of eating junk food and gaining more weight, I hate myself...".
Best decision I ever made in my life.
