You can use the Search feature -- click on the magnifying glass on the right side of the blue bar and type in "Laura in Texas" -- it will pull up some of her posts which you can open and then hover over her avatar and you'll get the option to send her a PM.

Yes, I've tried that but it doesn't work. Either because her profile is private or because I'm on an iPad.

I'll second that comment. "Looking for Laura in Texas" would make a good country western tune, too.
