Nothing beats Vachon.  Can't remember what the ones with caramel were called.

I live on the Border , I can remember when I was a kid there was a French "bread " truck that came around and he had the best vachon snack cakes....I think they still make them.....love the caramel ones....

Hey folks! Today is my follow up with the surgeon and I met the goal I set for myself (196). The scale read 193.9 today, which is my lowest weight yet-- but also a 3+ drop from yesterdays weight. Anytime I see a big drop (or gain) I use a 2nd scale to verify and it read the same.  shrug. It'll be interesting to see what the doc's scales says...

I saw 2 QOTD's: NO CLUE what I'm getting my spouse (or kids!!) for Christmas. Favorite job ever: bank teller-- I loved the business customers.

Time since surgery: 17 months

M1: 2 scrambled eggs, 2.5 oz cooked ham, 1 slice cheese

M2: apple

M3: 3.8oz trader Joes grilled chicken & salad

M4: going out to eat tonight-- we haven;t been out to eat in ages!

Favorite job...  when I was a teen I waitress-ed for my high school years and just loved it!  Then I became an adult and had to get an adult  job...lol

Happy Friday.  To those having a bad day, I hope it improves.  It's too soon for me to tell how my day is going to go.  So my weight is still up from my weekend indulgences, and I'm having a hard time kicking carbs to the curb, but today is another day.  Also, the gym I've gone to (a small independently owned place) relocated to an area that is not at all convenient for me.  So, I've been forced to try different activities.  Last night was spin.  I don't think it's love yet, but we'll continue to date for a while and see where it goes!

My plan:

B: Chicken thigh meat (2.93 oz)

L: leftover chicken and veggies from yesterday's lunch

D: Out for Mexican food (probably Carnitas and grilled veggies)

S: Skinny latte, HB egg, somersaults

Totals: Cal: 858; Protein: 91g; Fat: 30g; Carbs: 51g

Here are pictures from the run on Sunday.  We didn't get any "action" shots and these are from before we started, so we all look pretty fresh!
