Oh man, girl. Our twinning knows no boundaries. What's up with that?

I did some quick google searching this morning and I get why we are so cold, but nothing is answering what is going on with the night time furnace.

I went thru the "change" at 42, maybe with surgery you are getting ready to go thru the change, and hot flashes would last for hours with me then!

I had the cold hands and feet previous to surgery. I'm the person that's always cold. I haven't noticed it being worse since surgery but I guess I'm about to find out how I handle winter.

Morning DD2. I'm not sure I have ever, ever planned my outfit the night before.

I mostly sleep on my side, a little on my back, and never on my stomach. I usually get about 7 hours, but function fine on less. For over 20 years I got up between 2 and 3 am for work, and needed 2 alarms. These days I have no alarm! Sometimes I go to bed at 2 am, sometimes at 9 pm. It's chaos. I own no pajamas.

Hi Daisy and friends!

I'm sorry your outfit is feeling blah.  I hate when that happens.  I have found that I enjoy dressing my new body in things that are more form-fitting.  It helps me to try to wrap my head around how I look (as opposed to how I see myself).  My recent outfits have mostly consisted of leggings from Express (major sales right now, and they have good quality and the waist band sits where it should) and tops from venus.com (very affordable but cute sweaters and shirts).

I am a total side sleeper, and I either sleep naked or in yoga pants LOL.  I have to take Benadryl at night to sleep - for some reason I always wake up by 7 am even though I work from home and could literally roll out of bed at 9 and be fine.  I almost never sleep more than 6 hours.  I would like to get more but my damn body wakes up.

I have gained a few pounds (damn you, holidays!  Or damn me, for knowingly eating too many carbs, really) so I am trying to adjust my menu accordingly.  This means making some different things for me and my bf.  He has never had a weight problem.

B: Coffee with creamer, egg salad

L: Aidell's chicken and apple sausage (2) over a kale mix salad with poppyseed dressing

D: Chicken tenders

E: Gym at lunch - will lift for 20 minutes and do elliptical for 30 minutes

V: Another area I have been slacking.  Working on getting these in!

Is it Friday yet?

Even though I'm not at goal yet, I have definitely noticed a switch in styles in my closet. I did buy a black knit jacket to wear over things like I used to do (in a smaller size than my old one(s)), and on the days that I tried to wear it I felt really frumpy. I gave it to my mom, even though it still fit. I think that seeing myself in the 'same old' fashion I felt forced to wear for so long made me feel that way. Now, if I need a jacket over something, they are tending to be shorter, and I feel so much better in them psychologically anyway.

I can't do clothes as they get baggy on me. They probably could still be worn, but I don't feel good in them, so out they go!

It's been almost a week since I've been to any Goodwill... I think I'm starting to feel a bit shaky! Hahaha!
